My Non Surgical Rhinoplasty

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone has had a fabulous weekend!

Today I've decided to write a post about my non surgical rhinoplasty quite simply because it's literally the most genius thing to ever be done with filler!

The before and after pictures still amaze me, I didn't realise how uneven my nose was before! I had this treatment done at Vie Aesthetics for £350 and it will last up to 1-2 years. The treatment is done with filler, and I had some injected at the top of my nose between my eyes and some in the tip of my nose. This wasn't painful, I had numbing cream left on for a short time before, I just felt a bit of pressure when the filler was injected. I did have a bit of a headache the night I had it done but it was gone in the morning so it's a small price to pay.

I genuinely think that this treatment has made subtle changes to a few areas in my face, it seems to have pulled my top lip up slightly and has made my face look a lot more symmetrical. I've compared this to surgical nose jobs and the results are basically the same so it's really good for anyone maybe who's considering a surgical nose job but wants something less permanent first to see if it is suitable.

I'm so happy with the results I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to even out their nose without breaking the bank and without the crippling pain of a surgical one!

My staple every day make-up must haves

HAPPY HUMP DAY!

It sounds pretty dull but my every day make up look doesn't really change, except for maybe a new lipstick if I'm feeling adventurous. I've been using a lot of the same products for a few years now shockingly but they do the job so well. There are a few new things I've recently started using and no doubt these will have a permanent spot in my beauty box. Enjoy!

This is me with my every day make up on, might seem a little heavy for some but it stays on all day I promise!

Firstly I have to talk about the product I've stayed faithful to now for 4 years! It's no secret that I am completely and utterly devoted to the Estee lauder counter and the product that started the addiction was their Double Wear foundation!

As far as I'm concerned this will ALWAYS be number one for me. It's priced at £31 and widely available in boots stored as well as department stores such as Debenhams. This foundation will not leave your face until you take it off! I have been to festivals for the day and it's still on my face the very next morning it's the closest thing to a miracle if you like to look impeccable all day long. Of course I've done the rounds and tried foundations from pretty much every other make up counter possible including MAC, YSL, Chanel, Benefit, Illamasqua - the list goes on! But this is the one, you can even get a free sample at your Estee lauder counter and the cover a very wide range of skin tones. Double wear will always be my most used item, I pray to god it's never discontinued! P.s I use the shade Rattan for when I'm less tanned and after I've bronzed up or in the summer all long I use the shade Cashew.

This little pot of joy is what makes my eyebrows have any type of sass. For some reason they don't have the ability to become Cara Delevingne like without some serious help. This is the Illamasqua Brow Gel and I use the shade Strike - priced at £18.50. I bought my first pot of this in January and even though I use this daily I didn't need to order a new one until November! It truly lasts forever you don't need to use much product and it's very quick drying, plus hard to smudge after. This is another product which will be clinging on until the very end!

GLAZED! This is the look I like to go for, highlighter is important to me and this is one I've only just been told about. This is the MAC Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish Highlighter priced at £24. They do a few shades of this highlighter but I've been told this is the top dog. I've tried a few highlighters and they never seem to be... glazed enough! It is very easy to overdo it on this though so make sure you keep away from the tin man look because you'll need to start your make up all over again - trust me! It's lasting me well I've had it a month and it looks untouched so for the price it's well worth having.

Another Esee Lauder product of course! The Bronze Goddess Powder Bronzer is £33 but again this is something you'll be using for ages! It's a build able colour so you won't end up looking like  you've smudged dirt on your cheek at any point and it doesn't go patchy at all. I've been using this as long as the foundation 4 year this has been my go to bronzer and I don't see that changing. It's got a lovely flat colour with no shimmer so it is good for using on the whole face if you need to. It's a very large compact also compared to others, which is another reason it will last most people about a year! It does come with a brush as well which is pretty cute.

OK so I refuse to wear any lipstick other than this right now. It's by MAC and it's in the shade of Mehr for £15.50. It's a matte finish but it doesn't dry out your lips too much which is good because I literally wear this day and night. I find that even though it's a dusky pink it makes my teeth look very white somehow and seems to go with any type of make up. I run out quickly because as I said I wear this non stop, I'm devastated I've just run out after buying in 3 weeks ago, hopefully santa will be leaving a few under the tree for me this year.

Lastly is my eye shadow palette must have, the Zooeva Cocoa Blends Palette priced at a stunningly low amount.... £10. The shades suit me very well I love the dark browns and the purples shown here actually are more red they're perfect for this season. The colours are easy to blend and it lasts well through the day/evening. They do some other palettes also so if you know the colours you suit the best then I'd highly advise getting one of those to play with, they're well worth the money!

Thanks for reading everyone, I don't tend to buy many new make up products because I do love my old faithfuls but if I find anything that manages to catch my eye I'll be sure to blog about it.

My Breast Augmentation Experience with MYA

Hey again princesses!

I was looking forward to writing this post so I thought I'd get it up pretty quickly, the main reason being that having breast augmentation (enlargement) was one of the most positive decisions I have ever made. I had my surgery back in October 2013 with MYA Cosmetics, and although it was something I had thought about earlier on in the year, I basically decided within a week that I wanted it done. In just a month I had a consultation with a patient co-coordinator, one with the surgeon (Dr Frati) and finally a pre surgery appointment with a nurse to make sure I was healthy to go ahead with the procedure. I was a woman on a mission you could say!

You wouldn't be wrong in thinking that this is not a cheap procedure, and it's not cheap at all! I had my surgery back in 2013 for a little over £4000 but the price has increased since. I was 21, I had a minimum wage job and no savings... but there is a way. Most cosmetic procedure companies now offer finance to those who don't have the money upfront. I paid a very small deposit, it was meant to be £500, but my patient coordinator allowed me to pay £200 so I could get an earlier date with the surgeon. Shamefully, I have still not paid them off....

This is a me with my pre surgery boobs!

The lead up to surgery was very exciting, every day felt like a month and I was getting increasingly enthusiastic reading through the MYA forum which anyone can become a member of. The forum is a great way of speaking with other girls who are considering/waiting for surgery, and also those who have had it. At this time none of my friends had had a boob job, not the case now! Opinions seemed to be split, lots of girls having a lovely pain free chilled week off to rest their new boobies, and the other half who seemed to be in agony, unable to do anything for themselves, some even unable to eat and having to return to the hospital. Bearing that in mind the nerves didn't set in until the night before my surgery, I couldn't eat from about 10pm also so it was a long hungry night of waiting before my journey to the hospital.

I had to leave my house about 6am as I was due in the hospital first thing and I lived just over an hour away from it. I couldn't explain my relief when I was told I was the first patient Dr Frati would be operating on, which meant that I shouldn't be discharged too late in the day. The hospital was amazing... it's private so of course it is, the staff were very helpful and although Dr Frati is a man of very few words, he seems to make you feel at ease. I won't lie, by the time I was walked down to the operating room by a very friendly nurse I was pretty scared, I had never had any surgery other than a very AWFUL tonsillectomy and I hated needles so much so that the injection for the anaesthesia was my main concern! With the help of friendly staff though I was very calm and the next thing I know is I woke up with boobs and was shivering cold.... this was because of an ice pack!

I went in an out of a sleepy daze for a good hour or two even after returning to the room, but once I'd come round properly I was ecstatic... Dr Frati uses very tight bandages called strapping which stay on for a week which is so upsetting when all you want to do is peak at your new boobs but it seems to be a very good way of looking after them. I had a small drain coming out of each breast, and to be completely honest after the pain killers I was given (not sure what!) I felt amazing I couldn't feel pain they were just very hot and numb, I was out of the hospital by 7pm after having the drains removed at my bedside.
That evening I slept OK, you cant lay on your side which is generally how I sleep which was a little awkward but again I think the pain killers were still in my system I slept like a baby!
This was them on the evening after returning home -

The next morning I was stiff, I sat up by myself tho, and walked downstairs to see my mum for some painkillers but I wasn't in agony.
The view was amazing!

I took a few tablets and surprise surprise they knocked me out. The truth is for the next 5 days all I did was sleep and eat, very little and I actually lost weight during surgery! I was just so tired but I wasn't in pain I was just a little stiff, on the 6th day I went out on a date in my bandages so I'm going to say I was one of the lucky ones! I had the bandages removed on the 8th day and seeing them for the first time was amazing, i just couldn't wait to slap some fake tan on!

This was me without a bra on just 2 weeks after surgery!

As the weeks went on, they settled and within 12 weeks I had pretty natural looking boobs which I'm kinda sad about. BOOB GREED is most definitely a thing, lots of girls seem to want them bigger afterwards.... I have looked into this but I haven't had any further work done on them just yet! Pretty much as soon as I came round from surgery I was in love, the reason I wanted breast augmentation was because I had lost 4 stone and all the fat and elasticity seemed to have gone from my breasts leaving them pretty empty looking. The confidence I felt and still feel now from them is something all the money in the world is worth. Since I have had my surgery lots of other friends have also had the same procedure and I think it's safe to say no one has been disappointed.

Finally a picture of me without a bra over 3 years on, I've never looked back!

My top products for being a bronzed beauty

Hey girls and guys!

I wake up today with that awful Monday feeling, but it all changes when I look in the mirror and remember I did my fake tan last night! Everything seems better when your glowing, and its no secret that being tanned even makes you look slimmer. The only trouble with fake tanning is the terrible process of elimination every person goes through trying to find that perfect product for them. I would estimate I have tried 20+ different tans, spray tans, mousses, creams - THE LOT and the prices have varied from £2.99 to £29.99 per product. Through all my trying and testing I have 3 very memorable products that I always recommend, one being my absolute favourite which I still use to date. Lets start with my product in 3rd place which is pictured below...
This is called Xen Tan, and the particular type that I tried was the dark lotion. This is typically priced at £19.45 and is widely available online and in Boots stores on the high street. The reason this tan is pretty high scoring is for two reasons, the first being that the colour comes out very well, its impossible to end up with any streaks due to the consistency, however the second reason is purely that it smells great! The smell of fake tan has never really bothered me much because I'm so used to it, but to anyone who doesn't use it - that distinctive smell of rich tea biscuits after you've been coating yourself in fake tan can be pretty grim! A downside to this product is that is doesn't last long at all despite the dark shade, I was topping up within 3 days, and of course the price isn't very good when you consider that it needs topping up that quickly! Overall rating 3.5 out of 5

In second place, I don't doubt that this product has been used by nearly every tan addict in the world.... ST MORIZ. You will pay £2.99 - £4.99 for this product and trust me its worth every penny! This is the ultimate definition of a cheap and cheerful product! I have tried both the mousse and the spray of this, I find my skin dries out with the spray though so I stick to the mousse and I use the dark option of course! This is amazing for a quick fix, you'll see colour instantly, it does dry quickly however you tend to keep getting darker.... and I mean i have gone out for the evening as a 6 on the colour chart and got home at 4am as a 9! I may add that the smell is pretty average, you will smell a bit like a biscuit sadly! The colour itself is a little iffy also when you compare this to the more pricey tans, but at this price it's to be expected. This tan will need topping up every 3/4 days also, and I feel like the bottles themselves don't last long with me. Overall this is a brilliant product for a night out/weekend but I struggle to make this look natural with the dark shade, and medium seems to last 2 days maximum, obviously this might be better for people with different skin tones, it's always worth trying for that price! Overall rating 3.5 out of 5

HERE WE HAVE IT, MY ULTIMATE NUMBER 1 TANNING PRODUCT. Laurens Way Self Tan Bronzing Mousse - DARKER THAN DARK. Priced at £16.99 I can't say enough positive things about this product. Firstly the smell, its very subtle for a tanning product! The texture and consistency of the product is perfect for a non streaky even tan, and the colour is the most natural yet. As some one who spends half their life being asked if my tan is real or not, I can honestly say that everyone seems to think the bronzed finish is from a cheeky trip away in the sun. Now this tan lasts a week, sometimes longer before I have to redo this, your not left with an awful patchy tan at any point during this, ant my current bottle has lasted me AGES. I've added a few bottles to my Christmas list and they should see me through to April/May easily its bloody magic! The price may seem high at first if you compare this to a cheaper product but it makes up for it just purely from the amount of wear you get from each application. Overall rating 4.5 out of 5

Thanks for reading guys, hopefully this has been useful for anyone whose looking for a more bronzed look this festive season! FYI I have now set up an instagram about this blog @princessbeautyblog_ so make sure you give it a follow!

3 Point Cheek Lift

Hey gorgeous girlies!

This blog post is all about a treatment I had called a 3 point cheek lift, which is done with dermal filler. This is the same sort of product you would have in a lip augmentation, it breaks down in the same way so again this isn't harmful to your body. I was advised that this treatment would last 1-2 years and I paid £550. I will start with the before and after pictures firstly!

Girls, I would just like to say my liquid eyeliner skills have improved greatly since this was done, cringing at those wings! The pictures on the left hand side in both pictures is the before picture... I must admit the lighting is a little more forgiving in the after pictures but I think you can see a pretty substantial difference!
The way the cheek lift works, is by adding filler to certain areas which loose fat. The areas injected are the nasolabial folds and a few different points in the cheeks. This, as with any aesthetic procedure isn't painful as such but the nasolabial folds were very uncomfortable when injected... enough to make me grit my teeth hard and just focus on the outcome! The result was instant, I didn't really see any further result but you are advised that filler can improve over the following 2 weeks from the treatment.
It would be unfair of me to compare a before picture to how I now look, because since this was done in December 2015 I have had a LOT more filler in my face! Honestly if i didn't have the before and after pictures to compare, just looking at myself in the mirror I couldn't see a difference. When I arrived home none of my family could see a difference either which means that it must've been very subtle! I'm not sure for the price it was worth it if I'm honest, but I do know this procedure is really for patients maybe a bit older than myself! Since this treatment I have had cheek fillers, which seem to also work well at lessening the depth of the nasolabial folds. I would say this is good for a subtle change, but it wasn't quite what I expected - although I have learnt that filler seems to not be such a drastic treatment, but more a build-able project! #ProjectFace

Happy lifting <3

My First Experience With Lip Filler

Hey prince and princess's!

I have decided that my first post should be about something I have had the most experience with! I first had a lip filler injection in April of 2015 and just 17 months on I have actually had over 10ml added to my lips! It sounds like a LOT I know but this is the current size of them, pretty natural ... ish! The second picture is me before any filler.
I'll admit, I was very nervous and apprehensive about having any filler in my lips. Before this I hadn't ever had any aesthetics procedures, I suppose this is where it all began! I wouldn't say that having lip filler injected is painful, but it is uncomfortable and a very strange sensation. I have had Juvaderm, Restylane and Princess. These are all hyaluronic acid fillers, and they can last anything up to 6-8 months. I'm not sure there is much difference between all the products if I'm honest (but obviously princess filler sounds pretty cute!) and they're all priced the same. I have never paid less than £240 per 1ml of filler, I have used two qualified doctors and they were both very professional which is very reassuring. The first 1ml I had done, I won't lie... it was pretty disappointing. I had visions of Kylie Jenner lips, and sadly that was not the case, I could barely notice the difference once the swelling had gone down, speaking of swelling.....
JESUS CHRIST! The swelling didn't last longer than 24 hours I may add, and I'm almost certain this was because I ate a nandos not long after (blame the nandos...) but I have since been advised that you must not have spicy food for 24 hours after.... good advice I wish i had been given at the time.

This is the before an after from my first 1ml, there is a difference yes but i had drawn over lip line so take my word when I say 1ml really didn't do much for me. I have lots of friends who have also been disappointed, but it is much better to build up to the size you want, this ensures you don't split the lip! Personally I ADORE lip filler, it wears off quicker than I would like.... I actually seem to have 0.5ml added every 2 months or 1ml every 3/4 months. I've never swelled up like the first time ever again thank goodness! As for bruising that's also very rare!

For anyone considering lip filler (lip augmentation) I would advise thinking about the cost, the chances are after the first injection you will want more, and at £240 a pop its not the cheapest of hobbies! I have never regretted my lip fillers, if your sensible about it you shouldn't ever look like a blow up doll... unless that is the plan ;)! You can have numbing cream if you are worried about the pain, however the actual filler contains a numbing agent in it also. FYI the actual product is made to be like a chemical the body already contains, so the product will just disperse naturally in the body, so this is not harmful in the slightest. Always make sure you use a qualified doctor, and go to an actual clinic if possible as your going to be safest and get the best results this way. Most clinics will offer a free consultation which is always good if you're not 100% sure.

Happy plumping! xox
